Safe Arrival

I am in Africa! We arrived here Tuesday night after two long days of traveling. Now we are just getting over our jet-lag, moving in, and getting accustomed to our surroundings. The next couple of days are very low key. We had orientation today. We will have more meetings tomorrow and Thursday. In these meetings we are going over all of the requirements, rules, and recommendations that USP (Uganda Studies Program) has for us. After the meetings we will be heading to Rwanda early Saturday morning.

Hello All!

I am very excited about my upcoming trip to Uganda! I am eager to see what God has in store for me. I pray that this experience will teach me more about who my God is and draw me closer to Him.
I would like to ask you as a reader, to pray that God would have His way in me. I know there will be some amazing times and some hard times, throughout it though my God will be there.
As I leave the world I know, I cling to this passage:
Psalm 18:1-3
"I love you, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call to the LORD, who is worth of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies."

All in all, at the end of my time in Africa, I want His name to be remembered, not mine.
